As the photographer Andre Csillag writes in the introduction to his book:

“In November, 1983 I was hired by a German pop magazine to do a photo shoot with Duran Duran. The band had just finished recording a new album in Australia and were about to start a world tour in support of it.”

“I had spent a considerable amount of time with their record company going through the minutiae of what I was allowed to do and what the band had agreed to do, with faxes going back and forth from their management company and road manager. In the end, a deal was reached and off I went for a three-day trip to Australia.”
