BACK IN PRINT - IMAGINARY BOYS: THE CURE 1978/80
“Imaginary Boys: The Cure 1978/80" features rare and previously unseen photographs of the band taken by Justin Thomas in London and Sheffield during 1978 and 1980 respectively .
As Justin writes in the book's introduction:
"One of The Cure’s first central London shows was on 19 December 1978 at The Hope & Anchor; a popular but freezing cellar/pub venue in Islington. Intrigued after hearing ‘Killing an Arab’ on John Peel’s radio show, I headed there to see them. There were 12 people in the audience but that didn’t stop them pulling out all the stops to impress."
