Justin Thomas bonded with Hanoi Rocks after initially being commissioned to photograph the Finnish band by Japanese magazine “Music Life” in 1982.
As Justin says: “As soon as I laid eyes on them, I was intrigued. Their style was high on drama - coloured leather trousers, big hair, plenty of slap - and they strutted about like alley cats.”
The 250 First Edition copies of Justin’s collection of rare and previously unseen images of the band - entitled “Tooting Bec Wrecks - Hanoi Rocks 1982/83” - will be released on March 27th. Copies can be reserved now by pre-ordering here.
