We are very excited to announce that our 66th release will feature the work of the brilliant Graham MacIndoe.
His collection of photographs come from two days spent with The National in Scotland during the summer of 2019 when the band played Glasgow's Kelvingrove Bandstand.
As Graham writes in his introduction to the collection:
"Even though they have played some huge festivals and large sold-out venues, they still love to play smaller, more intimate venues, so I was really excited when they told me they were going to be playing in Glasgow."
"Of course, the Scottish weather did what it does best and the rain came lashing down on the first night. But this didn't deter Matt from heading into the crowd with his microphone in hand, clambering over railings and seats to share some moments with the fans. Somewhere during that, he managed to snag a plastic poncho which he promptly pulled on, but by then he was soaked to the bone."
"I have to say that one of the most memorable moments was sitting in a chip shop on Sauchiehall Street with Matt and Scott as they sipped on some IRN BRU and tried to work out what it tasted like and whether they actually liked it."
"Perfume On" will be released on May 22nd. and we are taking pre-orders now. As many of our most recent releases have sold out before their official release date, if you want to secure one of the 250 copies in the collectable first edition, we recommend reserving your copy now.
